"iPimp" officially announced

Confirming rumors that have circulated for several months, ELMAfilms today announced that it has started pre-production on a new comedy short entitled iPimp.

“The premise of iPimp is one that we believe viewers will love,” stated Elvis Murks, the film’s writer and director. “It’s basically a late night infomercial extolling the virtues of iPimp, a new and innovative piece of software that brings the world’s oldest profession into the 21st century.”

Slated to produce iPimp is Mark D’Elicio who was quoted as saying, “This should prove to be one of our funniest works yet. To say it will be irreverent is an understatement.”

Examining pre-publicity materials, the synopsis was described as follows: August Devereaux III, President of iPimp Corporation gently narrates a group of testimonials describing the features of iPimp, as well as demonstrates the product’s features. Testimonials are from people from different walks of life who are in the field using the product. Some will recount how the tools have helped them in their business; others will actually put iPimp to the test over the course of their testimonial.

When asked to comment on the cast of the film, D’Elicio gave no comment. Murks did offer one statement. “There will be a lot of new faces in this film, as well as a few of our old favorites.”

An exact release date has not been disclosed, but sources close to the production have indicated that July 2005 should see the premiere of the film.

May we expect to see the voluminous talents of one Cranolyn Davis in this production?

Wishing you all the best (and TITS UP) on this one, boys!

  2. Did Steve Jobs have to sign-off on the name? When will a copy be available for download? A teaser at least?
    Best,
